UV protection
Solar more energy glazing, with the addition of Argon inert gas on the inner inaccessible side, and multiple in the triplex version of their structure, prevents UV solar radiation from penetrating them and entering the space.
Permeability
The percentage of sunlight that passes through the solar more energy glass system and enters the room reaches an ideal 71%.
Solar factor
The Solar Factor index measures the percentage of solar heat that passes through the glazing of a window and reaches the interior of the room. The lower the index, the more effective protection from the sun the frame provides. For the solar more energy glass system the Solar Factor is only 0.44 (40%).
U-Value
The U-Value index measures the amount of internal heat that passes through the glazing of a window and is lost. The lower the index, the lower the losses and therefore the higher the thermal insulation capacity. The solar more energy glazing system achieves a protection rating of 1.1 and 0.6 W/(m2K) with the addition of Argon gas, in double and triple glazing respectively.
The transparent metal coating that covers the inaccessible surface of the glass pane placed inside the room and, together with the insertion of inert argon gas between the glass panes of the solar more system, provide excellent thermal insulation, as they do not allow temperature losses. At the same time, they effectively control solar heat, reflect ultraviolet radiation and allow the heating power of the sun and light to enter the room unhindered. Thus, they help to maintain the desired indoor temperature, with much less expenditure for heating or cooling, winter and summer. The external appearance of the frames of the solar more system is transparent and differs little from that of a common double glazing system.
