Description
Steel boiler with mechanical regulation of the air supply controlled by a thermostatic traction regulator. NWB MAX solid fuel boilers range in power from 20 to 110 Kw to meet the heating needs of medium to large spaces. They are designed for the combustion of solid fuels (wood and class B briquettes) but also offer the possibility of installing pellet, oil or gas burners.
Manufacturing
The boiler body is made of high quality steel with 5 mm thickness in the combustion chamber and 3 mm thickness in the water jacket. The combustion chamber has a large heat exchange surface and low resistance for more efficient traction. The large door guarantees the loading of even large pieces of wood.
Efficiency
To increase heat exchange the combustion chamber is ribbed and designed for triple exhaust gas flow. The jacket completely surrounds the combustion chamber to maximise efficiency. The boiler body is insulated externally with 50 mm of insulating rock wool.
Safety components
Safe and reliable operation of the boiler requires the installation of a number of safety components
– Thermostatic traction controller.
– Removable metal grill that protects the heat exchange tubes and the base of the combustion chamber from flame corrosion
– Pressure relief valve 3 bar (included in the product)
– Heat dissipation coolers : At the top of the boiler there is a cooler connected to the water supply network. In case of overheating a thermostatic valve (NOT included) releases water from the water supply into the heat sink, releasing the heat of the boiler into the environment.
Fuels
The central heating boiler can operate with natural wood but also with briquettes or coal. The maximum length of the wood can be from 330 to 500 mm (depending on the model) The natural humidity of the fuel must be below 20%
Woods should have been dried for a long period of time in order to deliver their maximum caloric value (best results are achieved with wood that has been dried for two seasons) High moisture content greatly reduces the calorific value and therefore the overall performance.
Flexibility
These boilers are designed to burn solid fuels with an additional option to adapt to different types of fuel. This is possible by placing the corresponding burner for pellets, oil or gas in the lower part of the boiler at the cleaning door. A flange is required for installation (extra optional equipment)
